We were associated with people of Cuddalore port in business from 1960’s. When we decided to start an institution in memory of our beloved Mr.A.P.Shanmugasamy and Mrs. Suseeladevi. Our founder choose Cuddalore port as right place to serve our people, where we had handloom weaving factory.Our campus had witnessed many historical and political events at the time of freedom struggle.
The school is recognized by the Education Department and it is managed by Sueeladevi Academic Educational Trust
When the school was founded in 2003 there were just 10 students. As we opened our doors to the academic year of 2020-21, we reached strength of 1350. The ideals of our mission and philosophy have served as our compass throughout this period of rapid expansion. SSVS plays a central role in the life of the community. We got upgraded as higher secondary school in the year 2010-11.
